With over 10 years of working experience in 3D industry, James Lee aims to be a successful animator and modeller. has been fascinated by animation ever since he was a child. He made his very first animation when he was 9 years old. by taking pictures of a moving toy train and made it into a flipbook.
James has graduated from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham (http://www.ucreative.ac.uk), with a BA (Hons) in Animation. He is currently working as a 3D Animator in Hong Kong

Since his graduation in 2013, James has worked for about 8 years in media art industries, mainly on 3D modelling and animation. He recently works for Odysseyworks Production Ltd, where he is responsible for animating characters for children's animation series, most notably Hong Kong Ocean Park's Whiskers & Friends. The series usually revolve around Whiskers, an anthropomorphic sea lion, also a mascot of Hong Kong Ocean Park. Through various adventures around the world, Whiskers leads his group of friends, together they raise awareness about climate change and educate children to protect the environment. In recent years, James has worked at Creote Studios, contributing animation to numerous projects, ranging from VR educational interactive games and training simulations for schools and industries to property advertising and major events, including apps for the National Game of China (2025). There he gained more advanced experiences such as motion capture and AI tools, which he had always dreamed of obtaining them and continues to explore more.
James aims to be a successful animator / 3D modeller. He is hard working, innovative, and flexible team worker who is also able to work independently. He confidently approaches and completes all projects with enthusiasm.
