James Lee has been fascinated by animation ever since he was a child. He made his very first animation when he was 9 years old.
James has graduated from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham (http://www.ucreative.ac.uk), with a BA (Hons) in Animation. He is currently working as a 3D Animator in Hong Kong
His 3 minutes romantic-comedy film Love Story, a combination of 2D and 3D animation, was selected for screening by Purbeck Shorts Competition at Rex Cinema, Wareham, Dorset, UK on 18th October 2013, and can be viewed from the following link:
Since his graduation in 2013, James has worked for about 8 years in media art industries, mainly on 3D modelling and animation. He recently works for Odysseyworks Production Ltd, where he is responsible for animating characters for children's animation series, most notably Hong Kong Ocean Park's Whiskers & Friends. The series usually revolve around Whiskers, an anthropomorphic sea lion, also a mascot of Hong Kong Ocean Park. Through various adventures around the world, Whiskers leads his group of friends, together they raise the awareness about climate change and educate children to protect the environment.
James aims to be a successful animator / 3D modeller. He is hard working, innovative, and flexible team worker who is also able to work independently. He confidently approaches and completes all projects with enthusiasm.
